Outside of the costs of
your Self Directed RRSP all costs are paid
by the borrower. In fact we may provide
a bonus to the investor (you) which will
also cover these costs.
The
borrower pays for all third party reports
which consist of an real estate appraisal.
Other third party reports are usually characteristic
of commercial property
mortgages and include, Environmental Reports,
may include Structural Reports,
and for rural property, include water potability
and septic system reports.
The borrower pays all brokerage/lending
fees.
The borrower pays both the
investor and borrower legal fees.
The borrower pays all legal
disbursements and related GST where applicable.
You pay non of the costs
associated with originating, placing and closing
the transaction.
